The dream scene from ‘Don Quixote’ reveals the beauty that lives within Don Quixote’s imagination
SYNOPSIS | Don Quixote, an eccentric & idealistic gentleman lies dreaming in his castle surrounded by books of knights & maidens. He dreams of Dulcinea and in his delirium sets out on a quest for love and adventure to defend virtue and save her from harm . . .
ACT II – THE DREAM SCENE
Don Quixote lies unconscious and dreams that he is a knight in a magical garden of dryads and cupids ruled by the Queen of the Dryads. Accompanied by Cupid (Amour) who strikes him with love, the Dryad Queen brings him Dulcinea. He declares his love for her but the dream fades and spurs his quest for love.

’The Firebird’ set to Stravinsky’s iconic score blends the classical with the contemporary.
SYNOPSIS| First premiering in 1910 by the famous Ballet Russe, adaptations of The Firebird have been performed by ballet companies worldwide.
The FIREBIRD is fantastical fairy tale. Prince Ivan finds & rescues his true love, the Princess after he defeats the evil Kastchei with the help of the Firebird who offers one of her enchanted feathers after he spares her life. Dance Del Bello will feature variations highlighting the fascinating yet assertively commanding, flaming and magical nature of The Firebird.

SYNOPSIS | In Japanese culture, tradition is the dominant element of all aspects of life. Shitau focuses on the torment of lovers who must decide whether to adhere to tradition or follow their hearts.
