Delphine Del Bello Spencer

Artistic Director

Delphine Del Bello Spencer, Artistic Director of Dance Del Bello, began her professional career with an apprenticeship in the Joffrey Ballet Company, after which she became a member of the Joffrey II Company and the Ballet Repertory of New York. She then moved to Philadelphia where she joined the Pennsylvania Ballet and the Sybil Modern Dance Company. During her teaching career, she has been a member of the Temple University Dance Department and Philadelphia's CAPA High School. She has been awarded the Monticello College Foundation Fellowship for outstanding choreography, as well as a choreographic fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Stephanie Mumbauer

Associate artistic Director

Stephanie Mumbauer, Associate Artistic Director of Dance Del Bello, received her training in classical ballet from Edmund Novak and Irina Kovalska, former soloists of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. As Associate Director of the Pennsylvania Dance Institute and faculty member since 1987, Stephanie created the curriculum for beginning and intermediate students. Stephanie has not only performed with the company, but she also choreographs and leads rehearsal for Pennsylvania Dance Institute students participating in Dance Del Bello productions.

DAVID KLOSS

Dance Del Bello Artistic Advisor and Choreographer, David Kloss, became a member of the newly formed Pennsylvania Ballet in 1965, where he rapidly developed from minor figure to "danseur noble." Leaving the roster in 1979, David became an adjunct professor at Cabrini College, while still performing roles created for him with Pennsylvania Ballet. He has served as teacher, consultant, and choreographer for Ballet Kloss, Stanton Hall, Studios of the Performing Arts, Philadelphia's CAPA, the Brandywine Ballet, Dance Del Bello, Ballet des Jeunes, the Pennsylvania Civic Ballet Company, and most recently, the Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts. Mr. Kloss' mesmerizing interpretation of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol is presented each holiday season by Dance Del Bello.
